Direct thermal labels are printed on Direct Thermal printers. Direct Thermal printing is done when the printer head comes into direct contact with the self-adhesive label since the thermal paper is treated to produce the print when heat is applied to it. The advantage is that you do not need a Ribbon ink ribbon, to be able to print on the labels guaranteeing reliability and low costs. These labels are recommended for short-term labeling.
